- Charleston..."It's the humidity!" - Tuesday, January 03, 2006

Charleston this weekend was alot of fun! Trey and I got some alone time together and I LOVE his condo. He's so good at picking stuff out and making it work together. It's still has a ways to go but he has such great ideas. I bought Cash a scratching post so he won't tear the condo to shreds. Saturday night we watched "From Hell" with Johnny Depp...I don't get that movie really, I think I missed something. We ended up falling asleep, and said "Happy New Year" at 12:01...woops. Trey doesn't have his cable set up yet so we didn't really count down. Sunday was just a laaazy day we fell asleep after lunch, went downtown at night to walk around, got rained on a little which of course made my hair do crazy things and Trey got to see what humidity does to my hair. "It's the humidity!" And I got some saltwater taffy for JJ and some for myself. She was pretty excited. Anyways, Monday was another rainy day, we had lunch and I had to say goodbye, which kills me every time. Weird how you can see someone all weekend and that makes you miss them even more afterward. The drive home was uneventful and boring and pretty much depressing. Although Monday night cheered me up a little. I met JJ and Phillip for Sushi...made a mistake ordering, but I don't wanna talk about it! haha. let's just say we ate ALOT of sushi, but we showed them what's up! After that we went to Phillip's apt. and did what we always do...absolutely nothing. We laughed too much which made my already full stomach hurt even more, but I needed it. What would I do without my friends? Man I miss Charleston.

♣ the Lotus Flower is the only flower to fruit and flower simultaneously
♣ the Lotus can bloom in the clearest ponds and muddiest marshes
♣ the Lotus became a symbol of immortality and resurrection because people observed that they grew from dried up pools after the monsoon season
♣ Lotus seeds can germinate 200 years after they are shed
