- So this is life - Wednesday, January 11, 2006

So this is how my life breaks down until April 27th. I go to work from 9-5 then 2 classes from 5:40 to 8:40 Monday through Thrusday. I get home around 9:15 and I'm ready to crash. How am I going to have time to do homework AND sleep which I love so dearly? I bought my books today and only had to pay $120...my scholarship covered $150. So total of the books: $270. *phew* Exactly when did it get so expensive to print paperback books? Oh wait, it didn't they just like to suck ALL the money out of students with no regard of the fact that they have to pay tuition, possibly rent, car payments, insurance, bills, etc. Anyways, I am so dreading psychology. Just looking at my professor makes me wanna die, especially because he sports a velvet blazer (oh no). I'm not even sure how I'll have time to eat anymore. If things get bad I'm just going to have to tell James I can't come into work until 10:00, I mean a girl has to sleep...and eat...and study...without a social life. Although, social life can be left for Friday, I don't have school on Fridays! Woo Hoo! That is probably the only good thing about Trey coming home every other weekend. I doubt I would have time to see him except on the weekends anyway. Well, enough of my mindless bitching, I just need to realized that life is going to suck for a little while, and I just need to work my butt off.

♣ the Lotus Flower is the only flower to fruit and flower simultaneously
♣ the Lotus can bloom in the clearest ponds and muddiest marshes
♣ the Lotus became a symbol of immortality and resurrection because people observed that they grew from dried up pools after the monsoon season
♣ Lotus seeds can germinate 200 years after they are shed
