- No School! - Monday, January 16, 2006

Ok, sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days, but I actually had a social life! haha. Trey came home Friday, we ate enchiladas at my house, then went to his house to hang out with Ryan and April, his parents and his grandma. Me and his dad were on the same team, then Ryan and his grandma. We played Rook...which I am starting to get really good at! It's a lot of fun, and a family tradition for them, the get all into it, it's so cute actaully. Anways, we played cards until 1 in the morning and Trey took me home and I just crashed. BUT we had to be up early to take the infested cats to the vet. We waited around the bank for someone to fax a Bill of Sale so Trey could sell his boat. The punks never faxed it, so we finally left. We went to Firehouse (aw yea, I had me a Hook and Ladder, and Jena you are right that is a dang good sub, even though my favorite will always be the Engine Company sub.) Anyways, we hung out took a nap and Trey went back home to get his boat ready to sell. I went to get him and then we went out to dinner. We decided to try out the new Eddie Spaghetti place. I give 2 thumbs up. Very good. After that we rented Phantom of the Opera, which we didn't really get into so we stopped it when Ryan called. We went to Ryan and April's to hang out, watched a little Friends...Ryan and April have recently fallen under the "Friends" spell!!! YAY! They are starting to collect the seasons. They have 8,9,10 so far. I told them I have them all and we talked up a Friends storm while Trey rolled his eyes. He's going to become a fanatic if it kills me! Well, we decided to watch "Limony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events", which I loved. I bought it, but hadn't actually watched it until Saturday. After the movie April and I talked for like 2 hours while the guys had their "guy talk" in the next room. haha. Sunday was just lazy like always. All of us had lunch at Trey's parents' house, Salmon, baked potato, salad...mmm mmm. Trey's dad can cook up some Salmon! Well, in the middle of lunch the guy came to look at the boat, so Trey took him out on the lake...I passed, way too cold...and I looked for a bill of sale online. I finally found one and took it to him. The guy bought the boat for his son, that must be nice! Then we went to my house, hung out till church went to Firehouse again to please Trey's bottomless pit then back to my house to watch "Something's Gotta Give". Then he left and went home to get some sleep before his drive this morning..he got up at like 4 in the morning...I don't think so, I wouldn't do that in a million years. Anyways, that's a re-cap of my weekend. All the stuff I won on Ebay is starting to come in! yay. I love Ebay, but I have to chill before I go broke. No school today for MLK day! That ryhmed. Well I'm going home after work to read a little Wicked, have a nice, warm dinner and go to bed early for the vicious cycle starts this week. Only 3 days of school this week though, so it's all good.

♣ the Lotus can bloom in the clearest ponds and muddiest marshes
♣ the Lotus became a symbol of immortality and resurrection because people observed that they grew from dried up pools after the monsoon season
♣ Lotus seeds can germinate 200 years after they are shed
